How to create a Notification that uses Notification or Incident Escalations in Everbridge Suite.
Description
Follow the steps below to use escalations in a Notification or Incident.
- Log in to the Everbridge Manager Portal and select your Organization
- Select Communications > Notifications > New Notification
- Select the checkbox next to Use notification escalation
This step will display two contact levels by default. The Primary Contacts level is the first Notification before triggering escalations.
- Enter a number next to Total Responses Needed (includes Sequenced Groups)
- Under Primary Contacts select the first wave of contacts to be notified
- Under Escalation Level 1 enter the amount of time allowed to receive those responses before escalating to the next Escalation level.
- Select the next wave of contacts to be notified
- Repeat this process by continuing to add more Escalation Levels (Add another Escalation Level)
- Click Save
