How to create a Notification that uses Notification or Incident Escalations in Everbridge Suite.

Description

Follow the steps below to use escalations in a Notification or Incident.

  1. Log in to the Everbridge Manager Portal and select your Organization
  2. Select CommunicationsNotifications > New Notification
  3. Select the checkbox next to Use notification escalation

This step will display two contact levels by default. The Primary Contacts level is the first Notification before triggering escalations.

  1. Enter a number next to Total Responses Needed (includes Sequenced Groups)
  2. Under Primary Contacts select the first wave of contacts to be notified
  3. Under Escalation Level 1 enter the amount of time allowed to receive those responses before escalating to the next Escalation level.
  4. Select the next wave of contacts to be notified
  5. Repeat this process by continuing to add more Escalation Levels (Add another Escalation Level)
  6. Click Save
