Voicemail Settings and Preferences in Everbridge Suite.
Description
When creating a Voice Notification in Everbridge Suite, it is important to consider your preferences regarding voicemail delivery. Do you want your contacts to receive a voicemail message? Do you require confirmation of message receipt for contacts? The following articles provide Notification and Organization settings configuration information about voicemail preferences. Everbridge Suite offers three primary voicemail preference options for voice notifications:
- Message Only: Leaves a voicemail message for the contact, but does not ask the contact to confirm receipt of the notification.
- No Message: Does not leave a voicemail message and does not request confirmation if the contact does not answer the call.
- Message with Confirmation: Leaves a voicemail message and requests confirmation of receipt. This option is what triggers the callback/1-800 confirmation flow, allowing contacts to call back and confirm the notification.
