Description:

Notifications can be sent to contacts that WILL leave a voicemail but NOT require confirmation. This option can be enabled for a single notification or template, or as a default notification setting at the organization level. Review the respective sections below for steps on enabling these options.

Notification Settings (Single Notification or Template)

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal and select the desired organization from the upper right-hand corner.

  2. Select the Notifications tab from the top of the page, then +New Notification.

  3. Create the notification as desired.

  4. Next to Settings, select Edit.

  5. Next to Request Confirmation, select the radio button for No. Settings/Edit

  6. Select More Options.

  7. Next to Voicemail preference, select the radio button for Message Only. This disables voicemail confirmation behavior so that, when voicemail is detected, only the message content is left without prompting the recipient to call back or enter confirmation digits.   8. Select Send or Save the notification as desired.

Tip: If you still hear a callback number or extra digits at the end of a voicemail, verify that Request Confirmation is set to No.

Organization Settings (Default for ALL notifications)

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal and select the desired organization from the upper right-hand corner.

  2. Select the Settings tab from the top of the page.

  3. Select Notifications from the left vertical menu, then Default Options from the sub-menu.

  4. Next to Request Confirmation, toggle the radio button to Off.

  5. Next to Voicemail Preference, select the radio button for Message Only. When voicemail is detected, this setting ensures that only the configured message is delivered and no confirmation or callback instructions are read. Default Notification Settings
