Answer
Visual Command Center (VCC) will honor Role contact limitation configurations under Settings > Access> Roles.
Supported Functionality
The following areas in Visual Command Center will be supported for Roles with specific Static and Dynamic Contact Group limitations.
- Assets > Contacts feed in VCC Operator Console
- Operator Console Search for People and Travelers
- Communications and Incidents launched from VCC Operator Console

Affected Asset Summaries
Alerts will continue to display the full Affected Asset Summary counts, so the full impact of the Alert is known to the User.
When drilling into specific Alert summary counts, running reports or downloading the date, the view will be limited by that specific Role Contact configuration.
- Roles that can see all of the affected Contacts will the list as normal.
- Roles that can see some of the affected Contacts of that type will see a Role limited list:
- Roles that cannot see any affected Contacts of that type will see the message:
No items to show here. You may not have permission to view the affected items, or the items may have been deleted.
Alert Variables
Alert variables will continue to be role-agnostic, and some variables may display Contact data that is prohibited for that Role.
Example variables that will likely display Contact names:
- _CEM Nearest Contact
- _CEM Nearest Contact List
- VCC: Nearest Asset
- VCC: Nearest Asset List
