List of CEM and VCC incident variables and types used in Visual Command Center (VCC).

Description

VCC uses both CEM and VCC-specific incident variables. These variables come in three types:

Autofill variables: VCC can autofill these with information from an alert.
Action variables: Prompt VCC to perform an action.
Operator fill variables: Allow the operator to fill in text.

_CEM Latitude and Longitude	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	This variable provides the Alert's latitude and longitude in the following format latitude, longitude ex. 37.75305,-122.50934. If the Alert Location is a point, this variable will return the specific location. If the Alert Location is a regular shape, this variable will return the centermost point. If the Alert Location is an irregular shape, this variable will calculate the centroid of the shape(s). This value can be appended to specific URLs on Incident Templates to launch in specific maps on mobile devices. Examples: https://www.google.com/maps/place/{_CEM Latitude and Longitude} https://maps.apple.com/?address={_CEM Latitude and Longitude} Edit link and use "Text to display" to capture the entire variable in the URL.
_CEM Link to Alert Management	Autofill	URL	N/A	This variable provides a URL to open an Alert in the Alert Management user interface and is Available now as Early Access.
_CEM Nearest Asset	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	If the alert location is a point, this variable returns the Asset Label and Distance in KM from the alert event for the asset closest to the event. If the alert location is a polygon or line, this variable returns the Asset Label and Distance in KM for a representative asset within the polygon or impact area.
_CEM Nearest Asset List	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	If the alert location is a point, this variable returns the Asset Label and Distance in KM from the alert event for the asset closest to the event. If the alert location is a polygon or line, this variable returns the Asset Label and Distance in KM for a representative asset within the polygon or impact area.
_CEM Nearest Contact	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	If the alert location is a point, this variable returns the Contact Label and Distance in KM from the alert event for the asset closest to the event. If the alert location is a polygon or line, this variable returns the Contact Label and Distance in KM for a representative asset within the polygon or impact area.
_CEM Nearest Contact List	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	If the alert location is a point, this variable returns the Contact Label and Distance in KM from the alert event for the asset closest to the event. If the alert location is a polygon or line, this variable returns the Contact Label and Distance in KM for a representative asset within the polygon or impact area.
_CEM Triggering: Workflow Name	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	For auto-launched Incidents, this variable returns the name of the workflow that triggered the Incident. It is ignored for manual launches. This is a system variable, meaning it is automatically available to add to templates and does not need to be created in an Organization.
_CEM Triggering: Workflow ID	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	For auto-launched Incidents, this variable returns the ID # of the workflow that triggered the Incident. It is ignored for manual launches. This is a system variable, meaning it is automatically available to add to templates and does not need to be created in an Organization.
_CEM Triggering Ruleset Name	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	For auto-launched Incidents, this variable returns the name of the rule set that triggered the Incident. It is ignored for manual launches. This is a system variable, meaning it is automatically available to add to templates and does not need to be created in an Organization.

VCC!: Location Type	Action	Multiple Selection	Static Expected Last Known	Allows the operator to choose the types of contact locations to send the Incident Notification to. For example, Incident Notifications for travelers can be sent to Expected Location only.
VCC!: Record Type	Action	Multiple Selection	Insert Record Types	Allows the operator to choose one or more types of contacts to receive the Incident Notification.
VCC: Affected Asset Count	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	Number of assets (contacts and others) affected by this alert.

VCC: Alert End Time	Autofill	Date	MM-DD-YYY HH:MM:SS 24-Hours Clock	Expiration date and time for the alert; may be set by the risk event source or by VCC.
VCC: Alert Updated Time	Autofill	Date	MM-DD-YYY HH:MM:SS 24-Hours Clock	Date and time of last update for this risk event.
VCC: Link to Alert	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	This variable embeds a link to a VCC alert in your Incident Notification. Recipients who are VCC users can click the link to log into VCC, and go directly to the alert on the map.
VCC: Alert Source	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	Data source for the risk event.
VCC: Alert URL	Autofill	Textarea	N/A	URL(s) for additional information about the risk event, such as a media source. Recommended 10,000 characters.

VCC: Nearest Asset List	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	If the alert location is a point, this variable returns the Type, Label, and Distance in KM from the alert event for the ten assets closest to the event. If the alert location is a polygon or line, this variable returns the Type, Label and Distance in KM for ten representative assets within the polygon or impact area.
VCC: Alert Severity	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	Severity of the risk event, as sent by the data source.
VCC: Asset Count By Type	Autofill	Textbox	N/A	Returns the count of each type of asset affected by the alert, for example: Buildings: 22 Contacts: 102 Depots: 10.
