Email - Unsubscribe, Opt Out, Remove, Stop From Receiving Everbridge Email Notifications.
Description
Everbridge allows contacts to opt out of receiving Everbridge emails if this option is enabled in the organization.
Unsubscribing from emails will cause notification delivery to the given email address to cease on all email paths with the exception of the Plain Text Email – 1 Way and Plain Text Email – 2 Way delivery paths, which are not affected by the email unsubscribe feature.
To learn how to unsubscribe (opt out, remove, stop) receiving email notifications from Everbridge follow the video and/or written steps below:

Written Steps:
Everbridge allows contacts to opt out of receiving email messages via a system-generated link.
Contacts can unsubscribe from emails through the most recent notification received. Follow these steps.
- Open the email message and scroll down to the bottom.
- Select Click Here to unsubscribe!
- Click the checkbox for I'm not a robot.
- Click Yes, Unsubscribe.
- You will then be redirected to a confirmation page and you are then unsubscribed from email notifications for this Organization.
- When a subsequent email notification is sent to you after unsubscribing, the Everbridge application will block supported email notifications from being delivered to your unsubscribed email address.
If the email does not include an unsubscribe link:
- Log in to the member portal referenced in the message (if available) and use the portal to edit your notification preferences or opt out of specific lists; or
- Contact the organization that sent the notifications directly (for example, local services such as AC Alerts) and ask them to remove or update the email address that is receiving alerts.
- If the message indicates that you can reply with a keyword such as Opt Out in the subject line to stop commercial electronic messages, you may also follow those instructions to request removal.
- Log in to the Everbridge Community site and verify your email address to manage enabled public subscriptions associated with organizations and remove your email address from your profile. For more information, see: EBC: Signing in to the Everbridge Community "EBC"
If you require further support, forward one or more of the unwanted notification emails to Everbridge Technical Support and request assistance with identifying the organization sending the messages. Include the original alert emails as attachments or copies so Support can review exactly which Communications were sent to your email address and help direct you to the appropriate organization.
Everbridge does not manage client contact data and does not have the authority to edit or remove contact information on behalf of organizations. To update or remove your contact information, reach out directly to the establishment or organization that sent the notification.
