Problem:

SMS messages originating from a short code are not being received on TracFone devices.

Root Cause:

TracFone does not support receiving SMS text messages that originate from a short code.

Solution:

Use other delivery methods for reaching contacts who use TracFone services. See Knowledge Base Article 000046064 - How to Create and Use Delivery Methods for more information.
