Can contacts change their security question/answer for the Everbridge Member Portal?
Answer
No. Contacts cannot change their security question or their security answer. The only way to resolve this situation is for an Account Administrator to create a new contact using one of the two methods below:
Delete the contact. See knowledge article EBS: How to Delete Contacts in Everbridge Suite.
Register them again to the member portal. See knowledge article EBS: How to Invite Contacts to Register to an Everbridge Organization's Member Portal.
NOTE: There is no way for a user to see a contact's security question/answer.
NOTE: If you're experiencing problems with updating the Member Portal security question Contact your Account Administrator or Everbridge Support to report the problem. Do not attempt to change your security question until the technical issue has been resolved.
