A guide to the errors that can be encountered when importing a region file into the Shape Library in Everbridge Suite.

Description

If you attempt to import an incompatible region file (shapefile) into the Settings > Organization > Map > Shape Library > + Import New Region file, you will receive one of the following error messages. We have provided some more information on what is causing the file to be incompatible. Possible Issue

Only EPSG:4326 and EPSG:3857 shape data formats are supported.

- Polygon could be in an incompatible Projection/CRS. Make sure shape is EPSG:4326 or EPSG:3857

The file doesn't contain valid shapes. - Polygon could have a hole and be a "Donut Shape". Polygons with holes are not supported. 
- Polygon could be a multi-part polygon. Multi-part polygons are not supported. 
- Polygon could be in an incompatible Projection/CRS. Make sure shape is EPSG:4326 or EPSG:3857
One or more shapes cannot be loaded. {The shape(s) contains hole(s), which is not supported.} - Polygon could have a hole and be a "Donut Shape". Polygons with holes are not supported.
