How to send notifications to delivery methods in a specific order in Everbridge Suite.
Description:
An organization or account administrator defines the default sequence of delivery methods that notifications are sent to. The order can be modified with the following steps:
From the same page, additional delivery methods can be added to the sequence by following these steps:
A delivery method can only be deleted from an organization if no contact has the delivery method assigned to their profile. To delete a delivery method, first remove it from any contact profiles utilizing it and then follow the steps listed below:
Delivery method quiet periods and statuses can be enabled by checking the checkbox for Allow members to turn delivery methods on/off and specify quiet periods. See Knowledge Base Article 000012358 - Enabling Delivery Method Quiet Times for information on enabling this feature. |
The sequence of delivery methods can also be changed when a notification is created to suit a specific instance:
Using the One Time Custom delivery order will only affect the sequence for the current notification and will not change the default sequence. |
If the organization utilizes a Member Portal, contacts can change the sequence of their delivery methods. To enable contacts the ability to change the sequence of their delivery methods follow the steps listed below:
