How to send notifications to delivery methods in a specific order in Everbridge Suite.
Description
An organization or account administrator defines the default sequence of delivery methods that notifications are sent to. The order can be modified with the following steps:
From the same page, additional delivery methods can be added to the sequence by following these steps:
A delivery method can only be deleted from an organization if no contact has the delivery method assigned to their profile. To delete a delivery method, first remove it from any contact profiles utilizing it and then follow the steps listed below:
Delivery method quiet periods and statuses can be enabled by checking the checkbox for Allow members to turn delivery methods on/off and specify quiet periods. See knowledge article EBS: Enabling Delivery Method Quiet Times in Everbridge Suite for information on enabling this feature. |
The sequence of delivery methods can also be changed when a notification is created to suit a specific instance:
Using the One Time Custom delivery order will only affect the sequence for the current notification and will not change the default sequence. |
If the organization utilizes a Member Portal, contacts can change the sequence of their delivery methods. To enable contacts the ability to change the sequence of their delivery methods follow the steps listed below:
