How to create an incident template category for use with Everbridge Suite Incident Communications.
Description
Follow the steps below to create an incident category in Everbridge Suite:
- Log in to the Manager Portal and select the desired organization from the upper right-hand corner.
- Click on the Incidents tab from the top menu bar.
- Click on the Templates sub-tab.
- Navigate to the Category column.
- Click on any entry in the Category column, i.e. an already existing category name or the '---' symbol that represents no Category.
Note in the example below, you may click on one of the existing category names, 'Employee' or 'Animals', or the '---' symbol:
- A pop-up menu appears:
- Click --Manage--
- Click New Category.
- Enter a name for the new category.
- Click Save.
- Click Close.
