What's New in Everbridge 360™
User Status Model Simplification

Administrators can now enable or disable user accounts to manage system access. When a user is disabled, all login methods are blocked, including SSO-only access.

This enhancement simplifies the user status model, removes ambiguity, and ensures consistent access control.
Note that this enhancement changes user status filtering behavior. For example, the Disabled filter may now include both registered and unregistered users, which could affect search results and reports.

Availability: This enhancement is available to all Everbridge 360 customers.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

MFA Enhancement to Support Failover Options

Administrators can now configure multiple supported MFA methods for an account or organization, designate a recommended method, and allow users to switch to another supported option during login when needed.
This reduces login disruption caused by reliance on a single MFA method and gives customers more flexibility to enable MFA with greater confidence.

Existing account and organization settings will remain unchanged unless an administrator updates the MFA configuration. When multiple MFA methods are enabled, users will see additional login options and can choose from the supported methods. For new accounts, MFA is enabled by default with all supported methods available.

Availability: This enhancement is available to all Everbridge 360 customers.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

Promote “Use VCC Operator Console” to Core Permission

Administrators can now use the existing Use VCC Operator Console permission as a core permission when creating or editing custom roles.

This provides greater flexibility in custom role configuration by allowing Use VCC Operator Console to satisfy the core permission requirement, without requiring administrators to select an additional core permission solely for validation.

Availability: This enhancement is available to all Everbridge 360 customers.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

Authenticated Access for Online Help

Online Help content now requires users to authenticate before viewing. Users who open a direct Online Help URL will be prompted to log in before continuing.
This helps ensure product guidance and page-level help content is available only to authenticated users. After successfully authenticating, users can continue to the relevant help page.

Availability: This change affects all customers.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

EB360 Reskin for Authentication Experiences

Signature Validation Uploads

Customers can optionally enable Signature Validation for Contact and Asset upload files, adding a layer of security that helps verify files are authentic, unmodified, and from trusted sources.

Availability: This enhancement is available to all Everbridge 360 customers.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

Unique Location Type and Location Name Validation

For Static Locations, each Location Type and Location Name combination must now be unique across uploads, API, and SFTP.

This validation helps ensure consistent Static Location management by preventing duplicate Location Type and Location Name combinations. Duplicate Static Location entries that were previously accepted will now return errors when submitted through upload, API, or SFTP.

Availability: This enhancement is available to all Everbridge 360 customers.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

Member Portal Display of Disabled Email Addresses

Organization contacts can now see when their email address has been disabled and when they are no longer receiving Everbridge notifications by email. This gives contacts visibility into why they may not be receiving notifications and helps them identify and resolve email-related issues.

Availability: This enhancement is available to all Everbridge 360 customers.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

Broadcast Duration Default

Everbridge operators can now define a default broadcast duration for notifications. Operators can set a default broadcast duration of more than one hour for notifications.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

Simplified Icons in Activity Log

Users can access communication actions from a text-labeled dropdown menu, with options such as Send Update and Resend, instead of relying on icon-only navigation. This helps users quickly identify and select the right action during time-sensitive situations, reducing errors and speeding response.

Availability: This enhancement is available to all Everbridge 360 customers.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

Configurable Permissions for Communication Custom Roles

Administrators can configure granular permissions for Asset Management, Alert Management, and VCC directly within the Communications custom role builder.
This allows administrators to tailor access to integrated products by role, ensuring operators see only the features they need.

Availability: This enhancement is available to all Everbridge 360 customers.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

Community/Visitor Engagement in Communications

Users can send messages to SMS opt-in recipients, formerly known as Nixle Channels, within Communications. Community Subscriptions make it easy to send messages to SMS keyword and ZIP code opt-ins, and the Communications integration enables faster message sending and geo-targeted outreach.

Existing customers must complete a formal Nixle migration to use Community Subscriptions in Communications. New customers will default to the new Communications experience with Community Subscriptions enabled.

Availability: This enhancement is available to all Everbridge 360 customers.

What's New in Mobile
Mobile Alert Management in ManageBridge

ManageBridge now includes an Alerts tile that opens a mobile-optimized Alert Management experience in the app. This lets operations teams and responders monitor and manage alerts away from their desks, helping reduce delays when urgent action is required.

Availability: This enhancement is available for all Everbridge 360 Pro and Enterprise customers.

Release Date: May 29

What's New in Travel Protector
City Risk Level API

A new API enables customers to retrieve city risk ratings directly from Everbridge systems. Customers can retrieve current risk levels for all cities or for a specific city within a country using standard country identifiers.

This allows organizations to integrate authoritative risk level data into internal tools such as GSOC dashboards, booking systems, and traveler mobile apps. Risk level data aligns with the ratings displayed in Everbridge Travel Protector.

Availability: This feature is available to all Travel Protector customers.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

Optional Contact Matching Configuration
Travel Protector now supports configurable email-first contact matching during itinerary ingestion. When enabled, this parameter prioritizes traveler email matching after Employee ID matching and before fuzzy name matching.

This improves traveler-to-contact matching accuracy for organizations with employees who have common or similar names, helping reduce incorrect itinerary associations and manual corrections.
This optional enhancement does not change existing Employee ID or fuzzy name matching behavior.

Availability: This feature is available to all Travel Protector customers with Anvil to EB or EB Travel Connector itinerary sources.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)
What's New in Visual Command Center
Customer KML and Shapefile uploads to Layer Library

Users can now find KML and Shapefiles uploaded to VCC in the Everbridge Layer Library. Existing upload workflows remain the same; after uploading, users can save and refresh the page to see the layer listed in the Layer Library.

This centralizes management of uploaded layers and helps teams stay organized when many custom layers are used over time.

Note that you must have Layer Library enabled to use this feature. Existing layer upload workflows remain unchanged.

Availability: This feature is available to Everbridge Enterprise customers and legacy CEM packages that have access to RIMC Tactical Resolution layers.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

ESRI Layer Library

Users can now use Everbridge Layer Library to search, browse, and add supported ArcGIS/Esri Feature Service layers directly to the VCC map. Users can add public and authenticated private Esri layers, manage active layers with drag-and-drop reordering and visibility controls, search and filter by text, tags, created date, updated date, and access type, and preserve active layers and preferences across refreshes and saved views.

This simplifies discovery and management of geospatial layers, expands access to ArcGIS/Esri content, improves usability for complex map configurations, and provides clearer visibility into layer status, errors, and loading behavior.

Users can begin using the updated Layer Library experience immediately within VCC. Private Esri layers require Esri authentication, and current Esri support is limited to supported Feature Service content.

Very large Esri layers may be unavailable if they exceed supported response limits. Existing non-Esri layer workflows continue to function as before.

Availability: This feature is available to Everbridge Enterprise customers and legacy CEM packages that have access to RIMC Tactical Resolution layers.

Release Date: May 26 (EU), May 27 (US)

What's New in Crisis Management
Crisis Management Rebranding

Crisis Management is being renamed Response Management, and Critical Events are being renamed Responses to better reflect how teams coordinate work across a wide range of business events.
Updated terminology will appear across the product, documentation, and related materials. There are no changes to functionality, workflows, existing data, or configurations.

Why we are making this change:
Not every event is a crisis, but every event benefits from a coordinated response. This terminology update better aligns with how customers use the product today to manage tasks, communications, dashboards, and operational actions.

Availability: This change affects all Response Management (formerly Crisis Management) customers.

Release Date: May 29, 2026

Availability: Only available to Public Safety customers using Communications with Public Incident Zones enabled in EB Admin.

Release Date: Jun 3 (EU), Jun 4 (US)
