Visual Command Center as Landing Page for VCC Operators

Role administrators can now set Visual Command Center as the login landing page for VCC operators in the custom role configuration page.

By directing operators straight into Visual Command Center upon login, organizations can reduce unnecessary navigation, minimize extra clicks, and accelerate access to critical situational awareness and operational information.

This feature is available to all Everbridge 360 customers at no additional cost and won't affect existing settings

Everbridge 360 Styling for CEM Login UI

The CEM login pages have updated visual styling to match Everbridge 360, creating a more consistent look across the overall user experience.

This update is cosmetic only and does not change login functionality.

AI Message Enhancement Controls (Two-Level Toggle)

Organization Administrators can now control AI message enhancement through a two-level toggle system in organization settings:

  • Master AI Toggle: Enables or disables all AI features organization-wide.
  • AI Agent Toggle: Available when the master toggle is enabled; controls operator access to message enhancement features such as tone adjustment, lengthening/shortening, and proofreading.

This governance model provides centralized control over AI usage while still enabling operators to leverage AI assistance when permitted.

AI Message Enhancement in Communications Launch

An AI assistant feature is available within the Communications launch form to help operators craft, refine, and optimize messages—whether using templates with variables or creating messages from scratch.

The feature helps adjust tone based on incident severity, remove unnecessary detail, and identify potential errors that could cause misinterpretation, helping ensure messages remain clear and actionable during high-pressure situations.

API Service Accounts: Resource + Action-Based Access Controls

Service accounts can now be provisioned with resource + action-based access controls, granting access only to the specific APIs and actions required.

This enables more precise control over integration access compared to broader user roles, improving governance for automation and integrations.

Self-Service DKIM

Organizations can now provision DKIM keys for their custom domain or email address, enabling email notifications to be sent from Custom From email addresses aligned with the organization’s domain.

This enhancement supports improved email authentication and domain alignment for outbound notifications. By strengthening email authentication, it helps improve deliverability and reinforces trust in email communications sent through Everbridge.

To use this feature: You must configure a Custom From email address for your organization.

This feature is available to all Everbridge 360 customers at no additional cost and won’t affect existing settings.

Microsoft Teams Unverified Report

Organizations can now identify contacts/recipients who will not be able to receive Everbridge notifications via Microsoft Teams.

The report highlights recipients who do not have the Microsoft Teams app installed or configured correctly, helping you proactively remediate delivery issues.

Communications: Increased Interval Between Cycles

In Everbridge 360 Communications, the Interval Between Cycles (Wait Time Between Cycles) can now be configured up to one day.

This allows for larger intervals between cycles to align with increased broadcast durations (already supported in Mass Notification/Incident Communications, now available in Communications), giving you more control over cadence for extended incidents.

Communications: Multiple Polling Responses

Contacts can now respond to Communications multiple times to update their status in an evolving situation.

Each response is recorded so you can track status changes over time and make more informed operational decisions during ongoing events.

API: New Custom Role API Set

Customers can now manage custom roles via a new set of dedicated APIs, providing parity between UI and API functionality.

These APIs allow programmatic create, retrieve, update, patch, and delete operations for Custom Roles, enabling consistent role administration across UI and API workflows.

Availability: Available for free for all API customers.

What's New in Visual Command Center
Phone Call Safety Events Now Supported in Visual Command Center

Employee Mobile Safety phone call events are now available as risk events in Visual Command Center, enabling automated alerting, targeted stakeholder notifications, and real-time map visibility.

With phone call safety events available in Visual Command Center, organizations can trigger alerts using advanced orchestration workflows, automatically notify stakeholders based on existing escalation and communication rules, and view phone call safety events alongside Mobile Safety SOS events on the map for improved situational awareness.

New Risk Event Sub-Categories:

  • Emergency Call
  • SOS

Action Required: Beginning February 10, 2026, Mobile Safety risk events will be published using new sub-categories. Please review and update any Visual Command Center workflows or alerting rules that rely on the Mobile Safety risk feed to ensure proper notification and visibility.

What's New in Risk Intelligence
Enhanced Earthquake Summary (USGS)

Reported Intensity and Depth are now included in the risk event summary to enhance earthquake impact assessment and situational awareness.

This enhancement is free for all customers using Everbridge Risk Events and won't affect existing settings.

What's New in Crisis Management
Enhanced Event Navigation & Document Management in Everbridge 360

Event navigation and document management have been improved in Everbridge 360 with:

  • Expandable and collapsible folders in the Everbridge 360 event list for cleaner navigation.
  • Folder-based document handling that allows the same file name to exist in different folders (restricted within the same folder).

These improvements reduce visual clutter, improve usability, and support better scalability for teams managing multiple events and associated assets.

This enhancement is available to all Everbridge 360 Critical Events customers and won't affect existing settings.

What's New in CEM Orchestration
Alerting by Custom Static Location Types

Organizations can now precisely target alerts and notifications based on custom static location types defined in Contact Management. This enhancement enables more granular and accurate targeting when launching alerts.

Custom static location types can be used as conditions within CEM Orchestration, allowing organizations to incorporate customer-defined locations into correlation and notification logic. This supports more flexible configuration and improves alignment between location data and alerting workflows.

To use this feature: Custom static location types must be configured in Contact Management.

What's New in Everbridge 360 Mobile
Risk Feed Filters in Everbridge 360 Mobile

Everbridge 360 Mobile now includes Risk Feed Filters, allowing travelers to filter risk feeds beyond Everbridge Travel Risk events, such as weather-related risks.

This enhancement gives travelers greater control over the alerts they receive and improves alignment with duty of care expectations.

By enabling more relevant and targeted risk visibility, this update helps increase traveler engagement and trust in alerts. When alerts are clearly applicable, travelers are more likely to act quickly, reducing the likelihood of ignored notifications and supporting better overall safety outcomes.

Availability: Available to Enterprise and Travel Protector customers only.

What's New in Public Safety
IPAWS Status and Simplified Update

When updating or closing an incident, all active IPAWS messages are now displayed to enable quicker message management.

The new IPAWS Status column shows the status of all IPAWS messages at a glance, and the Send Incident Update window displays all active IPAWS messages to make updates faster and easier to manage.

Note: This enhancement is being rolled out in phases as part of the EWBS 26.1 release. Availability may vary by environment.
