This article explains how to link a Facebook page to a Nixle account and how to resolve the most common cause of linking failures: using a Facebook login that does not have the required access to the Facebook page.

Description

To link a Facebook page to a Nixle account, you must sign into Nixle using a login that has the proper access to the Facebook page. An account that has the required access, such as an Admin account for that Facebook page, is necessary for the linking process to complete successfully. If the login you use does not have the required access, the link attempt will fail.

If linking fails because the login used does not have proper access to the Facebook page, you should log in with an account that does have the required access (an Admin account for the Facebook page) and then retry the linking process. Using an Admin account for the Facebook page permits the Facebook–Nixle link to complete successfully.
