We are an SAP Concur Partner. This article provides the steps required to integrate Everbridge's Travel Protector with SAP Concur App Center.
NOTE: In order to connect any travel vendor the Universal Travel Connector and the vendor/source must be provisioned for the customer account and relevant organizations.
General Information
Integration requires adding the Everbridge Travel Protector app from within their SAP Concur App Center. In order to do this they first need to configure their Everbridge SAP Concur travel source. This requires account admin user privileges.
Contact matching with SAP Concur
SAP® Concur® solutions supports contact matching on external identifiers. As each user within SAP® Concur® solutions can have an employee identifier assigned which is included in each itinerary. This means each customer has the option to match contacts using either the external identifier, email address or first and last name.
Configure your Everbridge SAP Concur travel source
Log in to your customer account in Manager Portal
Navigate to Settings → Manager Travel Connector → Travel Sources
Add new “SAP Concur” Source
Edit your new Travel Source, rename (if appropriate) and enter an Everbridge Verification Code.
This verification code is used to verify your connection to Everbridge when integrating within the SAP Concur App Center. IMPORTANT: We suggest generating a globally/universally unique identifier as your verification code i.e. 19a4b493-5331-44a6-9096-03a718d66930. Be sure to keep a copy of this verification code as you will need it when you connect to Everbridge within the SAP Concur App Center.
Select the Target Organization(s)
These are the organizations you want your SAP Concur travel data to be sent to. NOTE: You will only be able to select organization(s) which have been provisioned for the Universal Travel Connector.
Once completed select to save your new SAP Concur Travel Source. NOTE: The source will not be able to be enabled without the Everbridge Verification Code being supplied.
Connecting SAP Concur with Everbridge
From withing your SAP Concur App Center locate the app centre listing for Everbridge Travel Protector. Please note these images are subject to change and may not be displayed exactly as is shown below.
- Select the Everbridge app centre listing, and enter your Everbridge verification code. Then connect.
If your connection is successfully you should receive the message below.
Once connected the Everbridge connector will receive any travel events from SAP® Concur® solutions and process them into the target organisation(s). This can take 15-30 min(s) depending on how often Everbridge Travel Protector processes the data.
Viewing SAP Concur Itineraries
All travel data ingested via the SAP Concur travel source is visible within the Travel Connector and API Audit Logs and can be identified by the PNR Source showing as "SAPConcur".
