1. Prerequisites
Before setup begins, ensure the following are in place:
Tenant and Accounts
Microsoft Intune subscription (via Microsoft Endpoint Manager)
User account licensed for Intune
Intune Administrator or equivalent role
Android Requirements
Google Mobile Services (GMS) enabled on the device
Google Play Store access
Android Enterprise configured in Intune
Device capable of Android Enterprise enrollment (Work Profile or Fully Managed)
2. Set Up an Android App in Intune
Step 1: Access Intune
Sign in to the Microsoft Intune admin center
https://intune.microsoft.comNavigate to Apps → All apps
Select Add
Step 2: Choose App Type
Select the appropriate app type based on how the app is delivered:
Android store app – Public Google Play apps (Managed Google Play)
Click Select after choosing the type.
Step 3: Configure App Information
Search for the app by name (Everbridge 360)
Select the app from Managed Google Play
Note: Ensure you select the Everbridge 360 app, not any legacy Everbridge app.
Step 4: Assign the App
Go to Assignments

Choose one or more Azure AD groups:
Required – App installs automatically
Available – User can install from Company Portal
Configure assignment filters if needed
Step 5: Review and Create
Review settings
Select Create
The app is now available in Intune and will deploy based on assignment rules.
3. Create the App Configuration Policy
Step 1: Create a New App Configuration Policy
In the Intune admin center, go to
Apps → App configuration policiesSelect Add
Choose Managed devices
Platform: Android Enterprise
Select Next
Step 2: Select the Target App
Under Targeted app, select Choose app
Select the Everbridge 360 Android app added in the previous section
Click OK
Step 3: Add Configuration Settings
Under Configuration settings, choose Key-value pairs.
Add the following entry:

Step 4: Assign the Configuration Policy
Assign the policy to the same user or device group as the app
Select Next → Create
4. Enroll the Android Device in Intune
Step 1: Install Company Portal
On the Android device, open the Google Play Store
Install Microsoft Intune Company Portal
Step 2: Enroll the Device
Open Company Portal
Sign in with the corporate Microsoft account

Follow prompts to:
Set up an Android work profile (for BYOD devices), or
Complete device enrollment (for corporate-owned devices)
Approve requested permissions and device management prompts
Wait for enrollment to complete
5. Configuration Delivery and Validation

App configuration is delivered after:
The device is enrolled
The app is installed
The app is launched
Typical delivery time: 5–15 minutes
The app must be closed and reopened to consume updated configuration
