Everbridge CEM: January 2026 Release Notes

What's New in Everbridge 360™ (Includes Mass Notifications unless otherwise specified)
Communication Plans

Communication Plans enable organizations to create standardized, reusable messaging workflows that align with phase-based Incident response procedures. By defining communication sequences once, teams can quickly launch consistent, pre-approved messaging during high-stress events to reduce manual effort, minimizes errors, and significantly shortens response time when every second matters.

Custom Roles: “Create, edit and delete Contact Custom Reports”

The Custom Role scope has been expanded to include the "Create, edit, and delete Contact Custom Reports" permission, allowing administrators to manage Contact Custom Report access when creating or editing Custom Roles.

This enhancement is available to all customers at no additional cost. A new dependency requires the "View Contact Name and External ID" permission to be enabled for roles that manage Contact Custom Reports. Existing configurations are not impacted unless the role is edited, at which point the dependency will be enforced.
