Getting started with the new Visual Command Center modern user interface.
Description
Visual Command Center users can now access a modern version of the Visual Command Center operator's console.
Available exclusively in Everbridge 360, the modern interface can be enabled through the three-dot menu located in the upper-right corner of the operator’s console. Users can seamlessly switch between the Classic and Modern views at any time using the same menu options.
Note: This feature is not supported in non–Everbridge 360 environments.
The new Visual Command Center interface has several important changes.
Updated Right-Hand Menu
- The right-side feed panel has been enhanced to give each element (alerts, contacts, assets, etc.) full vertical space for viewing data and applying filters. To maximize map visibility, the panel can also be minimized into an icon-based menu.
The menu has been updated to display Contacts and Assets as separate items, making it easier to locate and manage each independently.
- The menu order has been updated to reflect most frequently used features.

Leveraging Alert Management Alert Interface
The legacy Visual Command Center alert management interface has been replaced with the updated interface from the Alert Management module.
Alert Owner and Group Owners can be assigned
Note: In the Modern interface, the new alert management experience does not include all features from the legacy module. Currently, it supports only Communications and Everbridge 360 Critical Events. If you need to launch an Incident or legacy Critical event, it is recommended to use the Classic interface.
Feed Bar & Quick Access Menu
In the modern Visual Command Center interface, a new feed bar appears at the top of the screen to display all enabled feeds from the right-hand panel.
This makes it easy for operators to see which feeds are active and quickly access each feed’s filters. The feed bar also includes a quick-access menu for Saved Views, allowing operators to seamlessly create new views or switch between existing ones.
