Personal Safety Device (PSD) Overview

Description

The Personal Safety Device (PSD) is a compact, wearable device designed to provide employees with immediate access to assistance during emergency situations. When an alert is triggered by a device holder, the alert information is transmitted through Everbridge to notify designated personnel or monitoring services for response.

Safety Functions

SOS Button
The PSD includes a single red SOS button used to manually trigger an alert.
To activate an alert, press the button five times within five seconds.

Fall Detection Capability
The PSD is equipped with advanced fall detection technology that automatically triggers an alert in the event of a fall or sudden drop.

Emergency Response

When an alert is triggered, event data is routed through Everbridge and can be handled in the following ways:

Alert data can be configured to notify your organization’s internal response teams.

Monitoring Service
An optional subscription-based service that provides 24/7 monitoring and emergency response coordination.
