Retain Resources When Creating a Custom Role |
When creating a new Custom Role from a base role (or editing an existing one and selecting a new base role), all resources configured for that base role, such as contacts, templates, and permissions, will be retained. This saves time when creating a new Custom Role that only needs slight adjustments rather than starting from scratch.

Case-Insensitive SSO User ID |
Case sensitivity will no longer be enforced when validating Single Sign-On (SSO) User IDs. This allows SSO users to still successfully log in even if their SSO User ID does not exactly match the identity configured in the IdP, helping to prevent unexpected login failures. Expose Group Memberships in Member Portal |
Administrators can now expose Group Memberships to the Member Portal from Settings > Member Portal > Information Collection > Group Memberships, allowing Members to see (but not edit) the groups they belong to. Custom Roles Scope - "View Schedules" Permission |
The Custom Roles scope has expanded to include the View Schedules permission, which permits users to view schedules without modifying them. Due to permission dependencies, note that the following permissions will also be automatically applied to a Custom Role if the View Schedules permission is enabled:

Resend Pre-Trip Country Reports When Country Risk Rating Changes |
The Default Sending Options on the Travel Risk Intelligence page can now be configured to automatically resend Pre-Trip Country Reports to users whenever the risk rating level increases or decreases for a country that they're traveling to. This helps keep travelers informed of updated country risk levels so that they're better prepared for their upcoming trips. View Traveler Segments in Alert and Excel Reports |
The Alert and ad-hoc Excel reports in Visual Command Center will now include a Travelers tab for Organizations using Travel Protector. Configure Alert Workflows by Contact Rules |
Users can now configure CEM Orchestration workflows using Contact Rules. Leveraging existing dynamic contact rules allows for the fine-tuning of alerting and automated responses to Risk Events based on contact attributes.

Asset Resource Limitation by Role |
Administrators can now manage Asset Resource Limitations for Custom Roles with greater granularity and flexibility by utilizing Asset Types. This offers more precise control by defining what actions each role can perform on specific Asset Types, ensuring users only access and manage the assets relevant to them. This feature is available to all Everbridge 360 Pro and Enterprise Packages and won't affect existing settings. Note that at this time, the role limitations only apply in the Manager Portal, while the enhancement will be available in Visual Command Center in a future release. View Impacted Assets, Contacts, and Locations in Alert Management |
Alert Management now includes a basic card or list view of affected assets, contacts, and locations on the Asset tab of the Alert.
