Everbridge CEM: May 2025 Release Notes

What's New in Everbridge 360™ (Includes Mass Notifications unless otherwise specified)

This change is free for all customers and won't affect preexisting settings.

Release Date: May 20 (EU), May 21 (US)

This enhancement is free for all customers and won't affect preexisting settings.

Release Date: May 20 (EU), May 21 (US)

Service Account for Contact and Group Integration

A service account will now be used to upload data for the Contact and Group Integrations, removing the need for administrators to create and maintain an Everbridge Suite API user.

This enhancement is free for all customers. From this point on, all new integrations will use the service account. Existing integrations at the time of release will continue using the Everbridge Credentials, but will not be able to modify them. If saved, the integration will automatically switch to using the service account. If no action is taken, integrations will automatically migrate to using the service account on August 20th.

Release Date: May 20 (EU), May 21 (US)

Broadcast Duration in Minutes

Users can now configure broadcast durations shorter than the previous one-hour minimum for Notifications and Incidents, allowing greater flexibility for time-sensitive alerts.

Submit Multiple Polling Responses

Contacts can now respond to Polling Notifications multiple times, enabling them to update their status as situations evolve and ensuring that the most current information is provided. This functionality is supported for the following Delivery Methods:

  • Email
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Slack

Multiple Polling Responses Notes.png

There are some known limitations to consider with the initial version of this feature:

  • Contacts will not be able to submit multiple responses from SMS (text) or the Mobile App.
  • SMS or Text responses will only be recorded if they are the first response. Contacts can subsequently respond via SMS via the link thereafter. If they respond from any other delivery method first, they will be unable to respond with an SMS/text message. They can still respond via SMS from the link in the received SMS message.
  • The time zone display on the pop-up modal for All Responses uses GMT instead of the time zone on the Details page.
  • Email-only Polling Notifications may show duplicate response entries.
  • The All Responses modal is not available in Everbridge 360 Communications at this time. In Communications, the latest response is displayed.
  • Contacts will not be able to respond again if the Notification/Incident uses scheduling or escalation rules. It will not change the scheduling or escalation path.
  • Multiple Polling Responses are not supported with Operator Confirmation, which will come in a future release. If an Operator confirms on behalf of a contact first and then the contact subsequently responds to the Notification, the contact’s response will override the Operator’s.
  • Multiple Polling Response information is not yet available in Reporting.

This enhancement is free for all customers and won't affect preexisting settings.

Release Date: May 20 (EU), May 21 (US)

Filter Users for Flow Designer Access

Administrators can now use the User Advanced Search feature to easily identify users with Flow Designer access by applying a simple filter.
