What's New in Everbridge 360™ (Includes Mass Notifications unless otherwise specified)
Service Accounts for Everbridge Suite REST APIs

Administrators can now self-manage their OAuth API service accounts at both the Account and Organization levels. For security-conscious customers, basic API authentication may not align with their risk strategies or compliance requirements, whereas OAuth authentication typically does.

Member Portal Permissions for Custom Roles

Administrators can now assign certain Member Portal permissions to custom roles. These permissions are used to determine which Member Portal Settings can be modified by the user, including:

  • Member Portal - Edit the setup, design, and contents of the Organization's Member Portal
  • Member Portal Opt-in Groups
  • Member Portal Weather Pages
  • Notification to Member Portal

Enriched User Download Files

Administrators can now access more comprehensive user data in the user download file at both the Account and Organization levels. Nearly all searchable user fields are included in the file, allowing administrators to filter by specific fields of interest to extract user data tailored to their needs.

This enhancement is free for all customers and won't affect preexisting settings.

What's New in Visual Command Center
Filter Contacts by Additional Information Fields

Administrators can now configure contact filters using Additional Information attributes, offering greater flexibility in managing contact data. GSOC Operators can also filter contacts by these attributes directly within the Visual Command Center operator console, allowing them to efficiently view and manage specific contact groups.

This feature is available to all Everbridge 360 Pro and Enterprise packages. It won't affect preexisting settings.

Minor Improvements to Existing Features - All Products

CEM Orchestration Rules UI Drag and Drop Ordering Users can now drag and drop rules to change their order within a workflow. Order is persistent. Allow users to organize their rules as they choose.
Mass Notification Contacts Contact Integration Add a “hire date” to the Workday Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) integration. When setting up the Workday API integration, the hire date will be available for mapping.
Mass Notification Notifications Two-Step Confirmation Two-step confirmation is now available for email and SMS Notifications, including polling responses, reducing the risk of false responses through device-scanning protections. If whitelisting Everbridge isn't possible, this allows recipients whose devices might be scanning and inadvertently responding to Notifications to have an additional confirmation step to ensure the correct responses are being sent. 
Visual Command Center Alerts Alert Owner Alert Owner will now display as a column in the Alert Report in Visual Command Center. Alert Reporting can leverage the Alert Owner field in historical Alert Analysis.
Visual Command Center Alerts Alert First Action Assigning an Alert to a User will now trigger a First Action on an Alert. Alert First Action metrics will be calculated based on this User action.
Visual Command Center Contacts VIP and Expatriate Fields VIP and Expatriate attributes are available to view and filter Contacts in VCC Operator Console. Allows Operators to filter contacts based on Additional Information attributes.
