Navigating the VCC Admin Console
Description
The Visual Command Center Admin Console provides the Everbridge Administrator access to settings related to managing alerts, adding custom data, and controlling how data and feeds appear in the VCC Operator Console. This tutorial provides an overview of the configuration options available, and where they can be found.
Go to vcc.everbridge.net
1. Menu
To access the Admin console, you must first navigate to Visual Command Center. From the Operator Console view, select the 3-dot menu.
2. Select
Then navigate to the Apps section and select Admin Console.
3. Menu
This will open a new browser tab, where the admin menu appears on the right of your screen.
4. Alert Settings
Starting with Alert Settings, this provides access to modify alert thresholds for Risk Sources which are not managed through CEM Orchestration Workflows.
5. Select Source
Select any risk event source to view or change its alert settings.
6. CEM Orchestration
If you see a message that "Alert Settings for this risk source have moved to CEM Orchestration", your organization has been configured to use advanced Workflows. In this case, you will need to follow the link to manage alert settings in the Manager Portal.
7. Manage
If the Risk Event Type is still set to "alertable", you may still modify the alert settings here.
8. Data
The next menu item is for Data. This provides access to manage options for specific data types.
9. KML Data
If you have added any custom KML feeds through the Operator console, this is where they can be deleted.
10. VCC Data
The VCC Data option for Contacts is where you can choose the contact attributes you want to include in Excel Reports and in which order they should appear.
11. Asset Management
The Asset Management menu provides access to manage how Asset Type attributes will appear in the Operator Console.
12. Attributes
For each Asset Type that has been created in the Manager Portal, you can choose which attributes should display in the VCC tooltips and Items Panel when an Asset is selected, and in what order.
13. Country Ratings
The Country Ratings menu provides access to view and customize the country risk information that appears as Context layers in the Operator Console.
14. Add New
If needed, you can add new country ratings, customized to your organization.
15. Edit Custom
If any custom Country Ratings have previously been created, you can upload a new file, disable the feed or delete the custom entry here.
16. RIMC
You also have the option to download the RIMC-provided country ratings or disable the feed if these are not needed.
17. Travel
The Country Ratings for Travel appears for Travel Protector customers only. Here, you can download a CSV file that contains links for each country's Travel Risk Intelligence report. Selecting the Edit option will redirect you to the Travel Risk Management menu in the Manager Portal where the individual reports can be modified.
18. Indoor Assets
“Indoor assets” are items associated with floors in a building or other facility. Using this feature, you can visualize the locations of items like security cameras, emergency exits, panic rooms, or lifesaving equipment such as automated defibrillators. Note: this feature requires that the Floor Plans option is enabled within the Feeds settings for the Asset Type.

as well as modify or delete existing ones.
21. Feeds
From the Feeds menu, you can change how your data appears and behaves in the Operator console.
22. Settings
Select a feed from the list to change its icon, filters, or other settings. For example, restricting which Roles can view the data, or customizing the Feed Icon and Color.
23. Reorder
You can also change the order of how the feeds appear in the operator console Feed Group panel by using the icons to click and drag to the desired location.
24. Channels
If your Everbridge solution includes Channels, this menu option provides access for you can create rooms in the Room Builder to display the Channels.
25. Room Builder
The Room Builder is where you mimic real-world rooms where you may have displays ready to show VCC Channels.
26. RIMC KML
Lastly, if your Everbridge solution includes KMLs published by the RIMC, you can access those items through the RIMC KML menu.
27. Select
These feeds will be added and removed automatically, but you can select and disable individual KMLs at any time, if you do not need them to appear in VCC.
