Navigating the Everbridge 360™ Mobile App
Description
The Everbridge 360™ Mobile App lets you receive important notifications, use safety features, and access critical information your organization provides. This tutorial will help you navigate the application's menus and settings once logged in. If the app opens in a language that is not preferred, don't worry - we'll show how to change it later on in this guide.
1. Home Screen
When opening the Everbridge 360™ app, you will land on the Home Page.
2. Organization
Your organization's information will appear at the top.
3. Carousel
The Communications Carousel highlights your unread messages.
4. Carousel
You can swipe through the Carousel to see other messages that have not yet been read.
5. My Apps
The My Apps tray provides easy access to the System and Safety buttons that your organization has enabled.
6. Navigation Toolbar
The Navigation Bar can be found at the bottom of the screen, allowing for quick navigation to the Home Page, Communications Feed, Settings, and (if enabled for your account) the SOS button.
7. Home
Tap the Home icon from any menu to return to the Home Page.
8. Comms
Tap Comms to view the Communications Feed.
9. Comms
This will display all the messages you have received from your organization. Tap on any message to see its details.
10. Comms
This will take you to the Communication Details page, where the entire message can be read in full, and other actions can be taken, such as viewing attachments, confirming receipt of the message, or responding to a poll. Once the message has been opened and read, it will be removed from the Carousel.
11. Settings
Tap Settings to open the application's Settings menu.
12. Settings Menu
From here, you can access and modify the configuration options within the app. Depending on the features available for your organization, you may not see all the settings reviewed next.
13. Account
When selecting the Account menu, you can view which organization you are logged into, manage your Everbridge contact profile for that organization, or logout of the application.
NOTE: The Manage My Profile option will appear if you have logged in with single sign-on or native login credentials. It will not appear when Device Registration has been used to access the app.
14. Contact Profile
When Manage My Profile is selected, you will be redirected to your organization's private Member Portal. Depending on your organization's settings, you may be able to view and update elements of your Everbridge contact profile here.
15. Location
Location settings let you modify a few related options. Some settings may require updating your device's location permission to Always Allow. If this is needed, you will be prompted to do so.
16. Auto Check-In
The Auto Check-In setting allows or prevents the app from continuously capturing and sending your location to your organization when using the Auto Check-In safety button.
17. Incident Zones
By enabling Incident Zones, you allow your location to be used for location-based notifications. While this feature does not expose your precise location to your organization, you can receive notifications if you are in or enter an impacted area that your organization has designated in their alert notification as a Private Incident Zone.
18. Motion Detection
Motion Detection improves location and tracking accuracy.
19. Movement
Movement Required determines how much device movement is needed to trigger a location update.
20. Language
The Language setting is used to set the language within the app. The System Default option will automatically be selected until otherwise specified. If the app opens in a language that is not preferred, it may be changed here.
NOTE: If your preferred language is not available in the app, you may need to add it as a preferred language in your device's settings first.
21. Theme
You can customize the interface color scheme by tapping Theme and choosing from System Default, Light, or Dark.
22. Notifications
Tapping on Notifications will route you to the App Notifications page, where you can enable or disable notifications, as well as specify the alert sounds and types of app notifications you want to receive.
23. Safety Settings
If you have been provided access to any of the Mobile Safety buttons, the related Safety Settings you configured the first time you logged into the app can be modified here.
24. About and Support
Finally, the About and Support menus contain general application information, plus logging and diagnostic information that can be shared with Everbridge Support when seeking assistance.
This tutorial showed how to navigate the menus and settings within the Everbridge 360™ Mobile App.
