Single Sign-On (SSO) login methods for users accessing the Everbridge Suite Manager Portal.
Description
Everbridge supports two methods for Single Sign-On (SSO) access to the Manager Portal: a dedicated SSO URL and a unified SSO login entry point on the login page.
Dedicated Single Sign-On URL
The dedicated URL login method uses a unique URL referred to as the Everbridge Service Login URL, formatted as follows:
Format:
https://manager.everbridge.net/saml/login/{API_NAME}
The API_NAME value is available in the Manager Portal under Account > Settings > Security > Single Sign-On for Manager Portal.
This method remains available for direct access when the organization-specific URL is known.
Unified Single Sign-On Login Entry Point
A Single Sign-On (SSO) login option is available on the Manager Portal login page.
When the SSO login option is selected, a domain entry page is displayed. The domain name is used to route authentication to the correct Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration.
Configuration
The domain name field must be configured within the Single Sign-On (SSO) settings to support unified login routing. The domain name field in the SSO configuration is optional; however, the unified SSO login entry point requires this field to be configured for automatic routing.
Follow these steps to manage or add the domain name:
- Navigate to Account or Organization Level Settings.
- Select Security, then select Single Sign-On for Manager Portal.
- Select the Edit option next to the SSO configuration.
- Enter the domain name in the Domain Name field.
- Select Save.
The configured domain name can then be used to sign in through the unified Single Sign-On login entry point.
