How to use Simulation Mode in Everbridge Suite.

This guide will walk you through utilizing Simulation Mode in Everbridge Suite

1. Login Page

Sign in to the Manager Portal and select your Organization.

Ensure you are at the Organization level.

3. Communications

Select "Communications".

4. Notifications

Select "Notifications". Simulation Mode can also be used in Incidents. This guide demonstrates using Simulation Mode for a Notification.

Select "New Notification".

6. Go Live

Once Simulation Mode is activated, there will be a "Go Live" button in the top right corner of the Message screen that can be toggled off to enter Simulation Mode.This will prevent the Notification from reaching any real Contacts.

7. Simulation Mode

Slide the "Go Live" switch to the "Off" position to enter Simulation Mode.

8. Message

Fill in the required Message fields.

9. Contacts

Add at least one Contact.

Save the Contact(s) added.

11. Send the Notification

Click "Send" to send the Notification.

12. Notification Active / History

Select "Communications", "Notifications", "Active / History".

13. Mode

Notifications sent in Simulation Mode will display that information in the "Mode" column of Notifications Active / History.

14. Broadcast Report

Click the Title of the Notification to see the Broadcast Report.

Notifications sent in Simulation Mode will also display that information in their Broadcast Report.

16. Click "Send Follow Up"

Simulated Notifications can only send simulated follow-ups (not live ones), and live Notifications can only send live follow-ups.
