How frequently does the Visual Command Center (VCC) Operator Console Map refresh Contact or Mobile Asset Location?

Answer

The map in the Visual Command Center will update locations under the following conditions:

• The user refreshes the browser.
• The user navigates around the map.
• The user right-clicks on the feed and chooses 'Reload'.
  
  
• Dynamically based on Zoom level and Contact and Asset Type. 

Dynamic Location Refresh

The Visual Command Center map will dynamically update the following Contact and Asset Types at the specified zoom level:

• Contacts
• Asset Types:
  • Person
  • Mobile Unit
  • Other

Note:  Buildings and Facility Asset Types will not have their locations updated on the map unless the user refreshes the browser, moves the map, or reloads the feed.

The map will update at the following refresh intervals based on the user's zoom level.
