Inviting Contacts to register for a Public Member Portal in Everbridge Suite.
Description
Once you have configured your Public Member Portal, you are ready to invite Contacts to register for the portal. See knowledge article EBS: Configuring Public Member Portal Settings in Everbridge Suite for more information on configuring Public Member Portal settings.
When the Member Portal is configured in your Everbridge organization, the portal URL appears next to the Access Your Portal option in Everbridge Suite. You can use that URL on your website, in an email, or in any other communication to let residents and other Contacts opt in and register for the portal.
If the Member Portal has not been configured, no portal URL will be available. Configure the portal first, then copy and paste the portal URL wherever you want to share access to the portal for your Contacts.
The Public Member Portal URL for an organization uses a standard org ID format and cannot be customized. URL customization is only available for private Member Portals. To add the Public Member Portal to a public website without changing the URL, link directly to the portal URL from your site, for example by using it as the target of a button, image, or text link that users can click to access the portal.
