Question
What happens when the user associated with the Everbridge credentials used for the Contact Integration with Workday Report is deactivated?
Answer
The Everbridge Credentials are necessary because the Contact Integration requires an Organization Administrator with API access for the integration to work. If the user is inactivated, you must ensure that another active Organization Administrator with API access is available to maintain the integration.
To prevent future issues with the Workday API connection being interrupted due to password resets or user deactivation, creating a dedicated Workday API user account not tied to a specific individual's login is best practice. Once the new API user is set up, you can establish the connection and mappings to ensure uninterrupted daily data upload from Workday to Everbridge.
