What's New in Everbridge 360™ (Includes Mass Notifications unless otherwise specified)
Member Portal URL Passphrase

Organizations using a Private Member Portal can now make the URL accessible only by including an Administrator-set passphrase. The passphrase needs to meet the following criteria:

  • Must be 10-15 alphanumeric characters. 
  • Supported special characters: !,-,_,*,(,)

This enhancement is free for all customers. Note that once a URL passphrase has been saved, the existing Member Portal URL will be changed. Any internal customer documentation or communications should be updated to reflect the new URL.

Contact Integration Group Management

Users can now synchronize groups using fields from their Human Resources management system for their Contact Integrations with UKG Pro, Workday, and Entra ID.​ This eliminates the need for a separate upload or manual group management when group information is already available in the HR system.

This enhancement comes at no additional cost. If group management is skipped while setting up the contact integration, groups will not be modified. Existing integrations will not be affected.​

What's New in Travel Protector
Booking Alert Triggers - Risks and Destinations

Travel managers and GSOC operators can now set alert triggers based on both Country Risk Ratings and specific countries. Alerts will be triggered when travelers book trips to selected countries that meet the specified Risk Ratings.

What's New in Visual Command Center
Improved Traffic Camera Filters and Aggregation

The Traffic Camera context feed now supports filtering by stationary traffic cameras, mobile vehicle cameras, or regions. Each camera type is represented by a unique icon to differentiate between the three types and provides additional live context for unfolding events that may impact your business.

View Asset Contact Associations in Visual Command Center Operator Console

Contact Asset Associations, such as Facility Manager or Regional Manager, will now be visible on the Asset within the Visual Command Center Operator Console.​ This allows operators to view which Contacts are linked to an Asset and directly communicate with those individuals if a critical situation impacts the Asset.

Share Alert Data to External Systems

GSOC Operators can now easily send Alert data to third-party systems or services that need it by configuring a Custom Action and using it in Visual Command Center.

Once configured, the Custom Action can be used in VCC to send an Alert to the specified external system:

Alert Query API

Users can now leverage an enterprise-grade Alert API  to query for specific Alert, Risk Event, and affected Asset data on demand to fill in key details, offering interoperability with other internal software systems.

What's New in Crisis Management
Configure Trackers for Critical Event Templates

Users can now preconfigure relevant Trackers in Critical Event Templates based on the nature of the Critical Event, like a Damage Assessment form, Risk Assessment form, etc. This ease of access can increase the efficiency and consistency of crisis management teams while responding to a Critical Event.

Crisis Management Navigation Menu Icon The icon for Crisis Management has been updated in the collapsible left-side apps menu. The new logo more effectively represents the activation of a crisis response plan.
Everbridge 360 User Management Disable or Delete User Buttons The Disable User and Delete User buttons are now greyed out when an Organization Admin is trying to edit a cross-Organizational user. This will prevent Admins from accidentally removing a user who still holds a position in a different Organization.
Mass Notification Contact Management Contact Integration Added the ability to map user-defined fields for the UKG Contact Integration. Admins will be able to sync information from UKG user-defined fields for their contact records when using the UKG Contact Integration.
Mass Notification Universe  Contact Layer Message A message will inform the user when the contact layers have finished loading. Users can still work in the Universe while the contact layers are loading and be notified when they're done.
Mass Notification Delivery Methods MS Teams The translation of MS Teams footers has been enhanced to support the selected Notification language. Recipients will see Notifications in their native language.
Mass Notification Delivery Methods MS Teams Responses to recipients after confirming or selecting a polling option have been enhanced to display in the selected Notification language. Recipients will see Notification responses in their native language.
Travel Protector Booking Alerts Alert Timing

Risk and Destination, High-risk Airlines, and Travelers on the Same Plane booking alerts that meet the defined thresholds are now sent within an hour of the itinerary booking.

Allows travel managers and GSOC operators to react faster for critical bookings.
Travel Protector Itinerary Ingestion Itinerary REST API

For all segment types, if a valid geolocation is provided, it will be prioritized to calculate the traveler's location.​

For Air and Train segments, if no geolocation is provided, the latitude and longitude will be calculated from the IATA code if provided, and if not, from the location address provided in the itinerary.​

For Air and Train segments, if a valid latitude and longitude is provided it will be used even if the Airport/Train station code is invalid.
Visual Command Center Reporting Alert Report The Alert Report's Time to First Action metrics now include a First Action date and time field. Enables customers to utilize this field for further reporting or personalized metrics.
Visual Command Center Risk Events and Alerts RIMC Information Source The Everbridge Risk Intelligence Monitoring Center (RIMC) now offers an Information Source (social media, local police, media, utility, etc.) on Risk Events and Alerts for the RIMC, Powered by NC4 and RIMC Advisories feeds. Provides additional context regarding the source of the Everbridge risk intelligence.
Visual Command Center Alerts Alert Variable

The CEM Latitude and Longitude alert variable has been updated to remove the space between latitude and longitude.

The variable now provides the Alert's latitude and longitude in the following format: latitude, longitude (37.75305,-122.50934)

Makes it easier to incorporate the variable into URLs.
