By using the Public Safety application, residents and visitors can receive rich push notifications from our network of participating public safety agencies (for example, city, county, state agencies, law enforcement, and emergency management).

How alerts and sign-ups work in the Public Safety app
Push notifications and login status: To receive emergency alerts as mobile push notifications, you must be logged in to the Public Safety app and have allowed notification permissions on your device.
Contact record creation: When you sign up via the Public Safety app, a contact record is created for you in the Everbridge system.
Reporting login or registration issues
If you experience login or registration issues in the Public Safety mobile app and need to report them, provide the following details to help the support team investigate:
Device type and model (for example, iPhone 14)
Device operating system and version (for example, iOS 17.x)
Public Safety mobile app version (from the app settings or app store)
Which county alert(s) or public safety agency alerts you are trying to subscribe to
These details help the team reproduce the issue and determine whether additional testing or escalation to engineering is needed.
