360™: Everbridge 360™ Deployment FAQ

What is an Organization Code?

An Organization Code is a unique code belonging to your Organization that allows your employees to log in to the correct region and Everbridge instance.

This is set up in the Everbridge Suite by an Organization Administrator.

Deployment failed with "HRESULT: 0x80073CF9, Install failed. Please contact your software vendor."

This error may occur when using Add-AppxPackage to install Everbridge 360 in a shared machine environment. Try using Add-ProvisionedAppxPackage to make the installation available to all profiles on the machine. More information on Add-ProvisionedAppxPackage can be found here.

Deployment failed with "HRESULT: 0x800B0109, A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider. error 0x800B0109: The root certificate of the signature in the app package or bundle"

To correctly verify modules signed by Trusted Signing, computers are required to have the "Microsoft Identity Verification Root Certificate Authority 2020" certificate authority (CA) installed. By default, root certificates are installed automatically if the computer is connected to the Internet. If the "automatic root certificates update" setting is disabled or the computer is offline, you must install this root certificate into the certificate store of "Local Computer" under "Trusted Root Certification Authorities". To download the certificate, see PKI Repository - Microsoft PKI Services.

Notifications are not displaying on a Windows device; I see a red bell icon next to Settings > Notifications.

This is commonly due to the required URLs getting blocked. Please ensure the URLs listed here are permit listed.

How can I silently deploy to my users?

Using the PowerShell commands listed here for MSIX or using the quiet parameter for MSI will install silently in the background. The login process is interactive, however, so the user will need to log in to the App before being able to receive Notifications.

How can I gather logs and diagnostics for support?

You can find a Support page under Settings. This page has some App diagnostics that can be run, as well as the ability to package up any log files for sending to our support team.
