MobileHelp: Use Custom Email/Everbridge Mobile App Message Option Is Not Available When Creating Notifications in the Everbridge ManageBridge App

When creating a notification in the Everbridge ManageBridge app, the TEXT option Use custom Email/Everbridge Mobile App message normally seen in the Manager Portal under Notifications > + New Notification is missing:

Description:

The custom Email/Everbridge Mobile App message is only available in the Manager Portal. All custom email edits, including Custom Email and Custom SMS Web Page Message templates, can only be created or updated in the Manager Portal and cannot be edited from the Everbridge ManageBridge app at this time.

In the Everbridge ManageBridge app, the available options are:

  • Custom SMS message field

  • Standard SMS text box

  • Standard Email text box

Because the mobile (ManageBridge) experience is simplified, its preview can differ from the Manager Portal preview on a PC. As a result, the mobile app preview alone may not clearly reflect the final SMS content that is sent.
