Create a Duress Code

A duress code silently triggers an SOS when using Safe Corridor. For more information on Safe Corridor and other Safety Connection features, see knowledge base article: 000012652 - Mobile: Safety Connection Features in the Everbridge Mobile App (EMA).

  1. Tap Menu Button on the upper-left corner.
  2. Tap Safety Settings.
  3. Tap Create Duress Code.
  4. Enter and confirm a four-digit code.

Set a Contact Number

The contact number will be used by an organization to call when an SOS has been triggered.

  1. Tap Menu Button on the upper-left corner.
  2. Tap Safety Settings.
  3. Tap Phone Number and set the country or region of your phone number.
  4. Tap Add a phone number and enter your phone number.

Set Auto Check-In

  1. Tap Menu Button on the upper-left corner.
  2. Tap Safety Settings.
  3. Toggle Auto Check-In on.

Set Country Location

The country location will ensure that any emergency calls placed will be properly routed. Remember to update the country location when traveling.

  1. Tap Menu Button on the upper-left corner.
  2. Tap Safety Settings.
  3. Tap I'm currently in.
  4. Select a location.
  5. Tap Back in the upper left to save the changes.
