Troubleshooting issues with loading the Everbridge Mobile App or the ManageBridge Mobile App on an Android device.

Description:

If the Everbridge and/or ManageBridge mobile applications do not load (blank screen, stuck on opening screen, etc.) on an Android device, follow the troubleshooting steps below:

  1. Uninstall and reinstall both apps on your phone to ensure you have the latest updated version of each. This action typically resolves most mobile app loading issues. If this does not resolve the issue, continue to the next troubleshooting steps. After each step, attempt to load the mobile apps to see if the problem is resolved. If the problem persists, continue to the following troubleshooting step.
  1. Check and enable/modify permissions for the app:
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications.
  3. Tap the app you want to change. If you cannot find it, first tap See all apps or App info.
  4. Tap Permissions. If you allowed or denied any permissions for the app, you will find them here.
  5. To change a permission setting, tap it, then choose Allow or Deny.
  1. Clear cache:
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app.
  2. At the top right, tap More.
  3. Tap History. Clear browsing data.
  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  5. Next to "Cookies and site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
  6. Tap Clear data.
  1. Delete any saved files on the mobile app under Phone Settings > Apps > {name of mobile app}.

If the app still does not load, please contact Everbridge Customer Support for further troubleshooting.
