Email - preventing contacts from unsubscribing or opting out of receiving Everbridge email notifications.

Description

The ability for contacts to unsubscribe or opt out of receiving Everbridge email notifications is controlled by an Organization setting. By default this setting is not enabled. To prevent contacts from unsubscribing or opting out of email notifications, leave this setting disabled.

Important: The ability to unsubscribe from SMS notifications cannot be disabled, as this is a federal regulation. However, the unsubscribe option for email and voice call notifications can be turned off.

This setting can be disabled by following the steps below:

  1. Log into the Everbridge Manager Portal and select your organization

  2. Select Settings > Organization > Notifications > Delivery Methods

  3. Under Allow unsubscribe from un-toggle Email and Voice Call
