How to update iPaaS settings after changing your username in Everbridge Suite.
Description
If a user is responsible for configuring iPaaS settings, then after changing their username, they need to update their username in iPaaS as well. To do so, they must follow the steps below:
- Log in to the Everbridge Manager Portal and select your organization.
- Select Settings > Organization > Everbridge Open > iPaaS > Settings.
- Enter the new username in the Integration User field.
Best practice for the Integration User account
- Use a generic service or API account (for example, ServiceNow Integration (YourOrg)) instead of an individual user account to avoid issues when staff leave or usernames change.
- An account or organization administrator must create this generic service user first, then paste its actual login name into the Integration User field on the iPaaS Settings page.
Where iPaaS entries appear and naming behavior
- The iPaaS list entries (for example, API, Access API, JIRA Service Desk, ServiceNow) are displayed under Settings > Organization > Everbridge Open > iPaaS.
- These iPaaS list entry names cannot be renamed or customized in the Everbridge Open user interface.
