How to update an email ingestion after changing your username in Everbridge Suite.
If a user left the most recent updates to an email ingestion, then after changing their username, they must re-save that email ingestion for it to continue working. To do so, they must follow the steps below:
- Log in to the Everbridge Manager Portal and select your organization
- Select Settings > Organization >Everbridge Open > Email Ingestion
- Select the pencil icon next to the Integration Name
- Scroll to the bottom of the integration definition and click Save
In the example above, Rita Book recently made changes to an email ingestion integration and just changed her username. For the email ingestion changes to stay in effect, she needs to re-save the email ingestion settings last updated by her.
Note: There is no need to change the email ingestion configuration; the only requirement here is that the configuration be saved again.
