What's New in Travel Protector
Filter Last Known Locations by Time

Users can now apply time filters to contacts' Last Known Locations in VCC, allowing them to observe contacts with Last Known Locations that were active in the past or will still be active in the future. When a specific contact is selected, their Last Known Locations are visible from a dedicated tab on the Contact Details page, further refining the display based on time.

Airline Risk Intelligence

Using the built-in direct integration with Everbridge Flight-Safe, users will now be able to browse and view details for over 1800 airlines, manage their own airline custom banned list, and set their own Airline risk ratings.

High-Risk Airline Booking Alerts

Customers can now be alerted whenever one of their users books a flight on a High-Risk Airline. Configure triggers for High-Risk Airlines Booking Alerts by setting thresholds for up to 200 triggers, each based on 5 safety regulation parameters and tailored for various traveler profiles, including groups or rules.

Create, Edit, and Delete Itineraries Permission

Through roles and permissions, customers now have the flexibility to grant or limit the abilities of the Incident Administrator or Data Manager roles in creating, editing, and deleting Travel Itineraries, while still retaining access to all other Travel Protector features.

What's New in Visual Command Center
Display Customized Map View Channel in the GSOC

The VCC Operator Console can now be launched and displayed as an optimized VCC channel, Mirror, allowing users to respond to threats faster with real-time GSOC collaboration.

The following actions are performable from this channel:

  • Upload View
  • Download View
  • "Follow Me" stream display to the Channel

Expanded Data Visualization Options

VCC Operators can now upload or drag and drop ESRI shape files into the Operator Console, adding more sophisticated contextual visualizations for a faster response.

Display RIMC Tactical Resolution Feeds in Saved Views

Users can now save Tactical Resolution layers alongside other Contextual layers, Custom Context layers, Alerts, Risk Events, Assets, and Contacts.

This will enable users to swiftly access frequently-used Console configurations for accelerated analysis.

New Variables for Dynamic Communications

The following new Alert-affected asset variables have been added to differentiate between Contacts and Assets for both Manual and Automated Incidents launched from CEM:

  • Nearest Asset​
  • Nearest Asset List​
  • Nearest Contact​
  • Nearest Contact List

Filters Contacts By Last Known Location Source

Users can now increase location awareness by pinpointing their contacts of interest in VCC with the Last Known Location Source filter under Assets > Contacts. The filterable sources include:

  • Everbridge Mobile App
  • Badging Sources

Minor Improvements to Existing Features - All Products

Mass Notification Contacts Contact Management Support has been added for "Czechia."​ Users will be able to use "Czechia" for updating contacts in addition to the "Czech Republic."
REST API Users

User ​Management

Support has been added for SSO ID for user retrieval and user update​. API customers can now use SSO ID, a more intuitive ID than the system-generated user ID for user management tasks.
REST API Mass Notifications & Incident Communications Verbose Parameter

The following APIs have been improved to restrict the retrieval of Contact records to a maximum of 20,000 for expired Notifications when the Verbose parameter is set to True:

  • GET/incidentNotifications/{organizationId}/{incidentId}/notification​
  • GET/notifications/{organizationId}/{notificationId}​

Note: The above APIs will return the details of ALL Contacts targeted for the respective Notification when the Verbose parameter is set to True for active Notifications.​

Use the following API to get results of ALL Contacts for expired Notifications: ​

  • GET /notificationReports/{organizationId}/{notificationId}​
Minimizes system latency associated with the retrieval of large data sets (more than 20,000 Contacts)​.
Mass Notification Contacts Contact Integration

The upload file name was modified to include the name of the Contact Integration.​

Users can now quickly identify which upload files belong to their Contact Integration(s).
