How to reinstate acknowledged alerts to show on the Visual Command Center (VCC) map.

Description:

Acknowledged alerts display on the VCC map if the Acknowledged Alerts feed item is active under the Context feed; the appropriate Risk Category must be active as well. Acknowledged Alerts will remain on the map view for 30 days before they are removed entirely.

To reinstate an acknowledged alert follow the steps below:

1. Log in to Visual Command Center.
2. Click on the Context feed.
3. Select the checkbox next to Acknowledged Alerts.
4. Find and click on the desired acknowledged alert on the VCC map.
5. From the alert details menu bar on the right and click on the reinstate icon.
6. Enter any additional information in the pop up box and click Reinstate Alert.

The alert will now display on the map as it did before it was acknowledged.
