Why do some notifications show as sent from the Geographical Information System (GIS) in Everbridge Suite?

Answer:

Notification DetailsWhen sending notifications from the Universe tab, Everbridge will record that the Geographical Information System (GIS, AKA the Universe tab) was used. This appears from the notification details page, under the Sent From field.
