Question:
What is Threat View also known as RIMC Alerts in Everbridge Suite?
Answer:
Threat View is a premium feature in Everbridge Suite that allows you to send Risk Intelligence Monitoring Center (RIMC) alerts via Notifications or Incident Communications to a contact or group of contacts. Alerts also appear on the Universe tab by default. By default, Threat View allows five thresholds to be created. If you need more than five thresholds, or do not see the RIMC Alerts option under Interactive Visibility, please reach out to your Everbridge Account Manager.
Instructions on how to access and configure Threat View (RIMC Alerts):
- Log in to the Manager Portal and select the appropriate organization from the upper right-hand corner.
- Select Settings from the top menu bar.
- Select Interactive Visibility from the menu on the left.
- Select RIMC Alerts from the sub-menu.
- Select the Severity levels—for example: Extreme, Severe, or Moderate.
- Enter an address and select Find your location on the map. Check the location to make sure it is correct on the map view.
