Enabling Incident Chat in Everbridge.

Description

Incident Chat invites Contacts and Users to participate in a live chat from an Incident Notification and is a feature of Incident Communications. To enable Incident Chat, follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to the Everbridge Manager Portal and select your Organization.
  2. Select Settings > Organization > Notifications > Default Options.
  3. Select Incidents from the top menu.
  4. Toggle the radio button next to Incident Chat to On.
  5. Click Save.

After turning on Incident Chat, the option Invite these contacts to the incident chat will appear in the Settings section of an Incident Template when editing, creating or using an Incident Template.
