Problem:
A rule or advanced search that uses a "does not contain" query with building names (e.g., the screenshot to the right) has unexpected results. For example, you may want to send a notification to anyone not in a certain building, but people inside the building are still receiving the notification.
Root Cause:
Contacts with multiple buildings, not just one building, may cause unexpected results when running a rule or advanced search that uses a "does not contain" query with building names. For example, the contact in the screenshot to the right contains two buildings because each of its static locations are linked to a different building. As a result, this contact may receive notifications they are not meant to receive.
Workaround:
To avoid unexpected results, manually filter out the contacts who should not receive notifications:
