Why don't I see dots on the Universe map?

Note: This only applies to Organizations with Resident Connection.
To improve Universe performance by reducing latency, the Universe map only shows dots for Organization Contacts, Residents, and businesses starting at zoom level 7. You can zoom in and out using the scroll wheel on your mouse or by clicking the + or - buttons in the lower left-hand corner.
If you've zoomed in sufficiently and still don't see dots on the map, there could be several other reasons:
- Verify that the correct contact layer is selected (e.g., 'Employee' layer for employee contacts)
- Ensure your contacts are properly geocoded with accurate location information
- Check that the map layer is turned on
If you've confirmed these settings and contacts still aren't displaying on the map, there may be a backend system issue affecting map visualization. In this case, please contact Everbridge Technical Support for further investigation and resolution.
