Error Message:

External ID is limited to alphanumeric characters, no spaces.

Root Cause

This error occurs when a character that is not an alphabetic or numeric character is included in the Calendar External ID. Alphanumeric characters are letters A-Z and the numbers 0-9. 

Solution

Remove any spaces or special characters from the External ID.
