How to download contacts from a shape drawn on the Universe map into a CSV file.

Description

Shapes can be used to collect contact data within an area. A polygon covering a country or region returns the count of static locations within that area, and creating a circle around an office location will return the number of contacts for that office. To download a CSV file containing the contacts within a shape, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal and select the appropriate Organization from the upper right-hand corner.

  2. Navigate to Situational Awareness > Universe.

  3. From the Select Contacts dropdown menu, select Draw Shapes.

  4. Draw the desired shape(s) (for example, a circle around a specific office).

  5. Select the You've selected... link at the top, which displays the number of contacts selected in the shapes drawn.

  6. Click Download Contacts.

  7. When the export is ready, open the email you receive and use the link provided to download the CSV file containing the selected contacts (including email addresses, phone numbers, and addresses) for that area.
