Topic:
How to define a timezone for a calendar used for scheduling in Everbridge Suite.
Description:
For example, a manager in the US may want to create a calendar in the UK timezone to schedule employees that reside in the UK. However, when that manager creates the calendar, it is in the US timezone because that is where the manager is located.
The timezone for a calendar (Organization > Contacts > Scheduling) is defined by the timezone of the user who creates the calendar. To create a calendar in a different timezone from the one you are currently located in:
- Before creating the calendar, login and edit your personal profile and temporarily change the timezone: (Account > Users > {username}) > edit the record by clicking on the pencil icon > set Time Zone > Save.
- Create the calendar (Organization > Contacts > Scheduling). Now you have created a calendar in the desired timezone.
- Edit your personal profile and change the timezone back to the correct timezone. (Account > Users > {username}) > edit the record by clicking on the pencil icon > set Time Zone > Save.
