Export Shape File

Shape files can be exported so that the same geographic areas can be uploaded into other organizations of an Everbridge account.

  1. Log in to the Manager Portal.
  2. Click on Settings > Organization > Map > Shape Library.
  3. Click on the shape file from the list and then click Export.

The files will then be in the Downloads folder.

Everbridge currently supports two file formats for exporting geofence map areas:

  • KML (Keyhole Markup Language) - A file format used to store geographic data
  • ZIP - A compressed version of the KML file
